While my siblings pursued traditional paths, like becoming engineers or doctors, I chose the arts as a way to express emotion and a human connection. I earned my degree in textile design because it allowed me to transform ideas into beautiful, wearable pieces of art that people can carry with them to feel confident and uplifted. I joined the cosmetology profession to merge my passion for arts that express emotions and my desire to make people feel, look better.
